Bartolo in Ridgefield

Cute atmosphere.... waitress Patty was very sweet! I had the lasagna, well the deconstructed lasagna with a meatball, good but nothing special.... the pomopolitan drink was really good and bread and marinara sauce delicious

Always an excellent meal at Bartolo. The braised short rib ravioli are to die for as is just about everything else they make. Julia and Art are wonderful

Home made pasta, fantastic sauses, great wines, excellent service! And they've just opened a nice bar section as well, big improvement. Highly recommended, call ahead as can get rather crowded.

Friendly staff, tasty food

Love everything about Bartolo's restaurant. The owners make you feel like family, the environment is cozy, and the food is delicious. It is our favorite go-to place for celebrations with friends and family, or a quiet dinner for two.

Quality food and great staff. Parking by the restaurant is a little tight, best to use the larger Kohls lot next door

Probably the best restaurant in Ridgefield! My husband and I came here after I read online their pasta is house made and it did not disappoint. I got the Carbonara and he got the Maine Lobster pasta dish. We couldn't even tell which one we liked better they were both so good and you could tell the difference of having fresh pasta! Our waiter was also great, he was kind and checked in frequently but never rushed us. We can't wait to come back and to try the many other amazing dishes they have on their menu! Thanks for a great meal!

Great food! Cozy location friendly knowledgable staff. Family owned and operated. Has the great feeling of friendliness and flexibility that the chain restaurants can't duplicate. The food is fantastic, the daily specials creative and the portion size is generous to say the least!

Such a great restaurant!

Wow, tonight was one of the most memorable meals in a long time. We shared the Bartolo Antipasto and that was one of the most abundant and delicious appetizers - such variety. We then had the Tuscan Stew and a special of Rigatoni with scallops, pancetta, mushrooms and peas. They were both generous portions and superbly delicious. The pasta perfectly cooked al dente and so good. The stew had so much shellfish and the most fantastic tomato sauce - unbelievable. The service was efficient, gracious and when we left, they hostess even said "thank you for coming and good night." So many other restaurants could learn a thing or two from Bartolo. A real gem.

Was quite surprised by this place. Came for a meeting and the food was just delicious. I am not usually a fan of Italian food because of how heavy it usually is but this food was really quite yummy. Definitely coming back :-)

Went there for dinner last night. Both my boyfriend and I had a difficult time deciding what to have. So many dishes in the menu sounded delicious. I ended up having Scallops in a smoked bacon cream sauce and homemade Gnocchi. It was delicious. He had a chop with Prosciutto and Cheese with mashed potatoes and garlic broccoli. The chop was perfectly cooked and tender. For dessert we both had the Grand Marnier Creme Brulee which was very light and had a wonderful flavor. A truly fabulous meal and you can't be disappointed. The service is also wonderful. Just went back there last night to check out the bar. What a great place and the bartender Jocelyn was fabulous. We had a delicious meal and wonderful drinks. Thank you to Jocelyn and the chef there. We will be back

Best marinara sauce of my life. Like everything we had for dinner incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. So many flavors instead of just salt—thank you! Before we left we we’re already planning on what we will get when we come back. Great place.

We normally LOVE Bartolo but were dissapointed last night. We all ordered the beet salad, usually fabulous, and it was missing something..maybe the pear and nutting taste? Also the seafood pasta was a bit dry and lackluster... alot of money for an OK meal...Hope it gets better.

Great food! A little hard to find, but worth it!

Chef owner Arthur Michaelsen puts out some of the best comfort food combined with innovative contemporary flairs. I will definitely be back for more.

We got dessert and drinks, their creme brule was terrible. Tasted like butter instead of vanilla custard couldn't get through more than a bite or two each, absolutely did not look anything like the picture. No berries or sauce or powdered sugar. The service was slow, didn't get water refills and we're planning on staying for two drinks when we sat down but no one ever came over so ended up paying and leaving when we got our waitress attention. New to the area and trying out restaurants, certainly will never come back

This restaurant is unquestionably one of the best place in the neighborhood. Whenever I come there I am profoundly happy. They maintain their very high standard service and the highest level of dishes they give. You will be always satisfied with this restaurant. Warmly recommended.
